USB Cable
USB Type C - MicroUSB 3.0 cable - PB484
USB-C to Micro USB 3.0 cable — connects a modern USB-C laptop, tablet or phone to an existing Micro USB 3.0 hard drive or SSD enclosure without replacing the drive.
Overview
The PB484 is a bridging cable. On one end is USB-C, the connector on current laptops, tablets and phones; on the other is Micro USB 3.0, the wide SuperSpeed connector fitted to a generation of portable hard drives and SSD enclosures. When a customer upgrades the computer and finds the drive's original cable no longer plugs into anything, this is the part that closes the gap.
That is a common and recurring situation rather than a niche one. External storage outlives the machines it was bought for, and there is no reason to replace a working drive because the host port changed. Keeping the USB 3.0 generation on both ends means the connection runs at the drive's own interface rather than dropping to a slower path.
The USB-C end is reversible, so it seats either way up — worth having on a cable that gets plugged in blind at the back of a laptop. Construction is a black PVC jacket with a one-piece moulded housing, so there is no shell seam to separate and strain is spread along the jacket rather than concentrated at the plug.
Each unit ships with one cable. Length, jacket colour, printed branding and retail or bulk packaging are customisable for OEM/ODM orders.
