USB Cable
USB Type A 2.0 Cable - PB469
USB 2.0 Type-A to Type-A cable — male-to-male A cable for KVM switches, industrial panels and legacy equipment that specifically requires an A-to-A link.
Overview
The PB469 is a USB 2.0 Type-A to Type-A cable: a standard USB-A plug on both ends. It is deliberately an uncommon shape, because ordinary USB connections always run from a host A port to a peripheral B, Micro or C port, never A to A.
Where it is needed, though, nothing else substitutes. KVM switches, some industrial control panels and HMIs, older data-transfer bridges, certain external drive enclosures and a range of test and diagnostic equipment are all built to expect an A-to-A link, and their documentation calls for exactly this cable. It is also the cable that is never in the drawer when the equipment is being commissioned.
One caution worth passing to customers: an A-to-A cable must not be used to join two computers directly. Both machines drive their A ports as hosts, and connecting them expects a device on the other end. Use this cable only where the equipment manufacturer specifies it.
USB 2.0 is the correct standard for the control, HMI and switching equipment this cable typically serves. Construction is a black PVC jacket with a one-piece moulded housing.
Each unit ships with one cable. Length, jacket colour, printed branding and packaging are customisable for OEM/ODM orders.
