USB A to Mini USB 2.0 Cable - PB468

USB-A to Mini USB 2.0 cable for the trapezoidal Mini-B port still used on dash cams, action cameras, older DSLRs and GPS units — moulded PVC construction, data and charge on one cable.

Overview

The PB468 terminates in a Mini USB connector — the trapezoidal Mini-B port that preceded Micro USB. It is long superseded on phones, but it never disappeared from the equipment that matters here: dash cameras, action cameras, older DSLR and compact cameras, GPS navigators, MP3 players, PC peripherals and a great deal of industrial and diagnostic hardware built in that era and still in service.

That is the practical case for stocking it. When a device with a Mini-B port needs a replacement lead, nothing else fits, and the original cable is usually the part that failed first. The PB468 carries both data and bus power over USB 2.0, so it serves as a charging lead and a file-transfer lead without the customer needing two accessories.

Construction is a moulded housing over a black PVC jacket. The moulding is formed in one piece around the connector rather than assembled from a separate shell, which removes a seam that can separate and spreads pull-out strain along the jacket instead of concentrating it at the connector mouth — the failure point on a cable that gets coiled into a glovebox or camera bag.

Each unit ships with one cable. Length, jacket colour, printed branding and retail or bulk packaging are customisable for OEM/ODM orders.

Frequently Asked Questions

What devices does the PB468 work with?
The PB468 Mini USB cable is compatible with dash cameras, action cameras, older DSLRs, compact cameras, GPS navigators, MP3 players, PC peripherals, and industrial/diagnostic equipment with Mini-B ports.
Can the PB468 handle both charging and data transfer?
Yes. The PB468 carries both data and bus power over USB 2.0, so it functions as both a charging and file-transfer cable without needing separate accessories.
What makes the molded design better than assembled shells?
The one-piece molded housing is formed directly around the connector, eliminating seams that can separate. This design distributes pull-out strain along the jacket rather than concentrating it at the connector—the typical failure point.
Can we customize the PB468 for OEM/ODM orders?
Yes. Cable length, jacket color, printed branding, and packaging (retail or bulk) are customizable for OEM/ODM orders. Contact us for your specific requirements.
