Mini DisplayPort to VGA Adapter (1080P) - MP351
Mini DisplayPort to VGA adapter, 1080P@60Hz WUXGA, white ABS with 24K gold-plated contacts — connects Mini DP Macs, Surface and ThinkPads to VGA projectors.
Overview
The MP351 converts Mini DisplayPort to analogue VGA at up to 1080P@60Hz (WUXGA). It exists for one specific and very common collision: a Mini DP laptop — MacBook, iMac, Surface, ThinkPad or Dell business machine — meeting a projector that only has a VGA input.
That pairing is the standard condition in schools, universities, hotel function rooms and older conference rooms. The projector is ceiling-mounted, expensive to replace and often years from renewal; the laptop is current. Neither is going to change to suit the other, so the adapter is the connection.
WUXGA at 1080P@60Hz covers the full native resolution of the projectors and monitors this adapter is used with, so the image is not being down-scaled to reach them. Where the room has an HDMI display instead, the MP352 in this range makes the equivalent conversion to HDMI.
Output is one VGA port. Built with 24K gold-plated connectors, OFC high-purity oxygen-free copper conductors and a white ABS housing, sized to sit flush against the laptop without fouling the adjacent port.
The box contains one adapter. Housing colour, printed branding and retail packaging are customisable for OEM/ODM orders.
