HDMI to VGA Adapter (1080P) - MP299
HDMI to VGA adapter, 1080P@60Hz, HDMI 1.4 / 10.2 Gbps, in white ABS with 24K gold-plated contacts — drives VGA projectors and monitors from an HDMI source.
Overview
The MP299 converts an HDMI output to analogue VGA at up to 1080P@60Hz. It is the direction of conversion that defines the product: the source is HDMI — a laptop, media player, console, set-top box or stick PC — and the display is VGA, typically a ceiling-mounted projector or an older monitor that will not be replaced for years.
That situation is extremely common in schools, lecture halls, hotels, community halls and small meeting rooms, where the projector predates HDMI and the equipment being plugged into it does not. Without this conversion the two simply cannot be connected.
The adapter works from the HDMI port's own supply and needs no separate power for typical laptop and player sources. Where the source port cannot supply enough — some set-top boxes, sticks and certain consoles are marginal — the MP299A in the same range adds a Micro USB power port for exactly that case; if a display is unstable or blank on the MP299, that is the model to move to.
Built to HDMI 1.4 with 10.2 Gbps bandwidth, 24K gold-plated connectors, OFC high-purity oxygen-free copper conductors and a white ABS housing. The box contains one adapter.
Housing colour, printed branding and retail packaging are customisable for OEM/ODM orders.
