HDMI™ Cable
HDMI A to C Cable - MP287
HDMI A to HDMI C (Mini HDMI) cable, 1080P@60Hz at 10.2Gbps, white PVC with 24K gold-plated contacts — for DSLRs, camcorders and tablets with a Mini HDMI port.
Overview
The MP287 terminates in HDMI Type C — Mini HDMI — at one end and full-size HDMI Type A at the other. Getting that connector right is the whole ordering decision, because Mini and Micro HDMI are close in size, routinely confused, and do not interchange.
Mini HDMI is the port fitted to DSLR and mirrorless cameras, camcorders, some tablets and graphics cards, and a range of portable monitors and field recorders. Its most common use is exactly the one that cannot fail: getting a live view or playback out of a camera onto a monitor, a TV or a capture device during a shoot. The cable is invariably not the one that came in the box, because cameras rarely include one.
It is built to HDMI 1.4 with 10.2Gbps bandwidth at up to 1080P@60Hz, which is the specification the great majority of Mini HDMI equipment actually outputs.
If the device has the smaller Micro HDMI port instead — common on action cameras, drones and compact cameras — the MP290 in this range is the Type D version. Comparing the socket against the plug before ordering is worth the moment it takes.
White PVC jacket, ABS housing, 24K gold-plated connectors and OFC oxygen-free copper conductors. Length, colour, branding and packaging are customisable for OEM/ODM orders.
