HDMI A 4K Cable - PB348

Cost-optimised HDMI 4K cable with one-piece moulded TPE housing and nickel-plated contacts — 4K@60Hz, 18Gbps, built for in-box bundling and high-volume programmes.

Overview

The PB348 is the volume build in this family. Its housing is moulded TPE formed in one piece over the connector rather than assembled from a metal shell, which removes parts and assembly steps and makes it the most economical construction here. A moulded housing also has no seam to separate and no metal edge to scuff a device port, and it grips the jacket along its full length, so strain is spread rather than concentrated at the connector mouth.

Contacts are nickel-plated instead of gold-plated. Nickel is harder than gold and takes repeated insertion well; gold's advantage is corrosion resistance over long exposure, so the trade is worth making where the cable ships inside a product box or serves a controlled indoor environment rather than a humid installation.

Signal capability is unchanged from the rest of the family: 4K@60Hz at 18Gbps under the HDMI 4K standard, with OFC oxygen-free copper conductors and a PVC jacket. Suitable for TVs, Blu-ray players, set-top boxes and PC graphics outputs.

Each unit ships with one cable. Jacket colour, length, printed branding and retail packaging are customisable for OEM/ODM orders.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes the PB348 housing different from other HDMI cables?
The PB348 features a one-piece molded TPE housing over the connector, eliminating assembly seams and metal edges that can damage device ports. The molded grip distributes strain along the jacket's full length rather than concentrating it at the connector.
Why nickel-plated instead of gold-plated connectors?
Nickel is harder and resists repeated insertion better than gold. Gold excels in corrosion resistance during long outdoor exposure, so nickel is the better choice for cables shipped inside product boxes or used in controlled indoor environments.
What video resolutions and refresh rates does the PB348 support?
The PB348 supports 4K@60Hz at 18Gbps bandwidth under the HDMI 4K standard. It is suitable for TVs, Blu-ray players, set-top boxes and PC graphics outputs.
Can the cable be customized for OEM/ODM orders?
Yes. Jacket color, length, printed branding and retail packaging are all customizable for OEM/ODM bulk orders. Each unit ships with one cable.
