HDMI A 4K Cable - HMC270

Zinc alloy shelled HDMI 4K cable with 24K gold-plated contacts and PVC jacket — 4K@60Hz, 18Gbps, built for AV racks and fixed installations where the connector takes the wear.

Overview

The HMC270 pairs a die-cast zinc alloy connector shell with a standard PVC jacket. Zinc alloy is the heaviest and most rigid of the shell materials we offer on this cable family, so the connector body resists crushing and side-load damage from repeated insertion in equipment racks, wall plates and behind-panel terminations. The PVC jacket keeps unit cost close to a commodity cable, which is why this build is usually the one specified when the connector needs to be robust but the run itself is static.

24K gold-plated HDMI contacts resist oxidation over long service life in humid or coastal environments — relevant when the cable is installed once and expected to stay in place for years. Conductors are OFC oxygen-free copper.

Signal capability is identical across this family: 4K@60Hz at 18Gbps under the HDMI 4K standard, suitable for TVs, Blu-ray players, set-top boxes, projectors and PC graphics outputs. Choose the HMC270 over the aluminium-shell HMM270 when shell rigidity matters more than cable flexibility, and over the PB348 when the moulded-housing cost saving is not worth the loss of a metal shell.

Each unit ships with one cable. Jacket colour, length, printed branding and retail packaging are customisable for OEM/ODM orders.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes the HMC270 different from other HDMI 4K cables in your range?
The HMC270 features a die-cast zinc alloy connector shell — the heaviest and most rigid option — which resists crushing and side-load damage from repeated rack and wall-plate insertion. It outperforms the aluminium-shell HMM270 in rigidity and the plastic-housed PB348 in durability, while maintaining commodity-level pricing with a PVC jacket.
Can we customize the HMC270 for our brand or order?
Yes. Jacket colour, cable length, printed branding, and retail packaging are all customizable for OEM/ODM orders. Contact us with your specifications.
What video resolution and bandwidth does the HMC270 support?
The HMC270 supports 4K@60Hz at 18Gbps under the HDMI 4K standard, compatible with TVs, Blu-ray players, set-top boxes, projectors, and PC graphics outputs.
Why use 24K gold-plated connectors and OFC copper?
24K gold-plated contacts resist oxidation in humid or coastal environments over long service life, while OFC (oxygen-free copper) conductors ensure signal integrity. This combination is ideal for permanent installations expected to remain in place for years.
Is the HMC270 suitable for high-flex or static installations?
The HMC270 is optimized for static runs where the cable is installed once and left in place. For applications requiring frequent movement or tight bends, the more flexible aluminium-shell HMM270 may be more suitable.
