USB C 4 in 1 Adapter - MP462
USB-C 4-in-1 adapter with three USB 3.0 Type-A ports at up to 5Gbps plus USB-C Power Delivery up to 60W — a pure port expander, no video output.
Overview
The MP462 deliberately leaves video out. It provides three USB 3.0 Type-A ports running at up to 5Gbps and a USB-C Power Delivery pass-through of up to 60W, and nothing else.
That is the right specification more often than it sounds. A large share of USB-C laptop users are not short of screens — they are short of USB-A ports, because the machine has two USB-C sockets and everything they own is USB-A: mouse, keyboard, flash drives, external hard drives, headsets, printers, card readers, licence dongles. Buying a video adapter to solve a port problem means paying for a display chipset that will never be used, and often accepting fewer USB ports because the video output took the space.
Three USB 3.0 ports at 5Gbps handle real work rather than just peripherals — an external drive on one port and a backup running on another are both operating at the SuperSpeed generation, not sharing a bottleneck. The 60W Power Delivery pass-through keeps the laptop charging through the same port.
If a display output is needed as well, the MP459 (HDMI) and MP438 (VGA) in this range cover it; if wired networking is the requirement, the MP420 adds an Ethernet port.
Housing is white ABS with nickel-plated contacts and OFC high-purity oxygen-free copper conductors. The box contains one adapter. Branding and packaging are customisable for OEM/ODM orders.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What are the three USB ports on the MP462 used for?
- Three USB 3.0 Type-A ports running at up to 5Gbps each. This allows simultaneous high-speed operation of multiple peripherals—such as external drives or backups—without bandwidth sharing. Compatible with USB-A devices like mice, keyboards, flash drives, external hard drives, and dongles.
- Does the MP462 support video output (HDMI/VGA)?
- No, the MP462 deliberately omits video output to maximize USB-A ports and avoid unused video chipset costs. If HDMI or VGA output is needed, Tonetron offers the MP459 (HDMI) or MP438 (VGA) models instead.
- Can the laptop charge while using the adapter?
- Yes. The adapter includes a USB-C Power Delivery pass-through of up to 60W, allowing the host laptop to charge through the same USB-C port while using the three USB-A ports.
- What materials and construction does the MP462 use?
- White ABS housing with nickel-plated connectors and OFC (high-purity oxygen-free copper) conductors. PVC cable. Built for durability and reliable data transfer.
- Is the MP462 available for OEM/ODM orders?
- Yes. Branding and packaging are customizable for OEM/ODM orders. Contact Tonetron (Dongguan Taitron Electronic Limited, ISO 9001, founded 1984) for bulk orders and custom specifications.
