The PF503 is the 4K@60Hz model in this two-port range: HDMI video out at up to 4K@60Hz, with a USB-C Power Delivery pass-through carrying up to 60W. Everything else matches the PF502; the refresh rate is the reason to choose it.

At 4K@30Hz a still image looks identical, which is why 30Hz is adequate for slides and documents. The difference is visible the moment anything moves: dragging a window or scrolling at 30Hz shows stepping, and video and gameplay judder. 4K@60Hz removes that, and it is normally a hard requirement for video playback, demo stands, retail displays, gaming and any room where the screen is showing motion rather than text. It is also what makes a 4K panel comfortable as a working desktop rather than just a large display surface.
