Overview
The PF502 does two things and deliberately no more: HDMI video out at up to 4K@30Hz, and a USB-C Power Delivery pass-through carrying up to 60W.
That pairing solves the specific problem of a laptop with very few USB-C ports. On a machine with one or two sockets, plugging in a display normally means giving up charging, and a working session ends when the battery does. Routing power through the same adapter that carries the video removes the conflict without adding a full hub — fewer ports means a smaller, lighter part that is easier to carry and cheaper than a multiport dock whose extra USB-A sockets may never be used.
4K@30Hz drives a 4K panel at native resolution, which is the correct specification for presentations, documents, signage and desktop work. Where the screen shows video or fast motion, the PF503 in this range is the identical adapter running 4K@60Hz — that model is the one to specify if smooth motion matters.
Construction is an aluminium shell with a polypropylene-woven nylon braid and reinforced SR strain relief, chosen for an adapter that is carried daily rather than installed once. Nickel-plated contacts, OFC high-purity oxygen-free copper conductors, plug and play with no drivers.
The box contains one adapter. Braid colour, branding and packaging are customisable for OEM/ODM orders.
