VGA/DVI Cable
VGA to DVI Cable - PB463
VGA to DVI cable — a direct lead between a VGA port and a DVI-I display input, replacing the usual adapter-plus-cable stack with a single moulded cable.
Overview
The PB463 is not a VGA cable with a different jacket; it changes connector at one end. VGA on one side, DVI on the other, in a single moulded lead.
The situation it addresses is common in offices and workshops that upgrade in stages. A monitor bought with a DVI input is paired with a PC, projector, KVM switch or industrial panel whose only output is VGA — or the reverse. The usual improvisation is a passive VGA-to-DVI adapter block screwed onto the end of an ordinary VGA cable. That works, but it puts a rigid extension behind the monitor, adds two more connections that can work loose, and produces a part that gets separated from its cable and lost. A single cable removes all three problems.
One point worth passing to customers: this is an analogue path throughout, connecting VGA to the analogue pins of a DVI-I input. It is not a digital conversion, and it will not connect to a DVI-D display input, which carries no analogue pins.
Construction is a black PVC jacket with moulded housings at both ends. The box contains one cable. Length, colour, branding and packaging are customisable for OEM/ODM orders.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Will the PB463 work with my DVI-D display?
- No. The PB463 uses an analogue signal path and connects to the analogue pins of a DVI-I input only. It will not work with DVI-D displays, which have no analogue pins.
- What makes this better than a separate VGA cable and adapter?
- The PB463 is a single moulded lead with integrated connectors at both ends. This eliminates the separate adapter block, reduces connection points from three to one, and prevents the adapter from being lost or separated from the cable.
- Can we customize the PB463 for our order?
- Yes. Length, cable colour, branding, and packaging are customisable for OEM/ODM orders. Contact us with your specifications.
- What is included in the package?
- One VGA to DVI cable with moulded housings at both ends, black PVC jacket.
- What are the connector types?
- VGA connector on one end, DVI connector on the other. The analogue signal path connects VGA output to DVI-I (analogue) input.
