RCA/3.5mm Cable

3.5mm to 2 x 3.5mm Audio Cable - PB107

3-conductor 3.5mm audio splitter, black PVC with a moulded housing — one source to two headphone sockets, stereo audio only, no microphone channel.

Overview

The PB107 splits one 3.5mm plug into two 3.5mm sockets with 3-conductor wiring: left channel, right channel and ground. It carries stereo audio to two listeners at once and does not carry a microphone channel.

That makes it the correct part for shared listening rather than for a headset. Two passengers on one in-flight entertainment socket, two people on one laptop, a second pair of headphones on a keyboard or amplifier for a teacher and a student, a monitoring pair alongside the main listener — in all of these the requirement is simply the same audio in two places, and a 3-conductor splitter is the direct, uncomplicated way to do it.

It is also the part to avoid if the job is a headset. A combined headphone-and-microphone plug needs 4-conductor wiring to keep the microphone channel alive; on a 3-conductor splitter the microphone is simply not connected. Where a headset has to reach the separate headphone and microphone sockets of a PC, the PB155 in the same range is the 4-conductor CTIA version.

The housing is moulded rather than assembled from a shell, so there is no seam to work open and the cable is bonded into the body in one piece — the more durable construction where the splitter is pulled by whichever leg is nearest. Black PVC keeps it inconspicuous and is the standard specification for volume and OEM programmes.

Each unit ships with one cable. Length, jacket colour, branding and packaging are customisable for OEM/ODM orders.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the PB107 compatible with headsets or microphones?
No. The PB107 has 3-conductor wiring for stereo audio only and does not support microphone channels. For headset applications requiring both audio and mic, use the 4-conductor PB155 instead.
What are the typical use cases for this splitter?
The PB107 is designed for shared listening: two passengers on aircraft IFE systems, dual headphones on laptops/keyboards, teacher-student audio monitoring, or any application requiring the same stereo audio routed to two listeners simultaneously.
Can the cable length, color, and branding be customized for bulk orders?
Yes. Length, jacket color, branding, and packaging are customizable for OEM/ODM orders. Contact us for specifications on your volume requirements.
What makes the molded housing design more durable?
The housing is molded as one piece with the cable bonded directly into the body, eliminating seams. This prevents cable separation when pulled by either leg, offering superior durability compared to assembled designs.
