RCA/3.5mm Cable
3.5mm Audio Cable (Spring) - HMM105S
Coiled 3.5mm to 3.5mm AUX cable with an aluminium alloy housing and TPU jacket — the rigid metal-shell spring lead for daily plug-and-unplug use.
Overview
The HMM105S is a spring-type 3.5mm to 3.5mm audio lead in an aluminium alloy connector shell, with a coiled TPU jacket, 24K gold-plated contacts and OFC high-purity oxygen-free copper conductors.
The metal shell is what separates this model from the rest of the coiled range. An AUX lead in a vehicle is gripped and pulled several times a day, usually found by feel in the dark, and almost always removed at an angle rather than straight out of the socket. That treatment works a moulded plastic body loose on the cable over time. Aluminium alloy is rigid, holds the strain relief firmly against the jacket, and does not deform in a car interior that swings between summer heat and winter cold.
It also reads as a better part in the hand — weight and a metal finish are what a buyer judges an audio cable by before it is ever plugged in, which matters for a lead sold on its own rather than bundled in a box.
The coil itself does the same job as elsewhere in the range: it takes up its own slack, so there is no loose loop to trap under a gear lever, and it stores as one compact spring. TPU holds that spring memory and stays flexible when cold.
Where a lighter, lower-cost build is wanted for volume or promotional programmes, the MP146S is the same coiled cable in an ABS housing.
Each unit ships with one cable. Length, jacket colour, branding and packaging are customisable for OEM/ODM orders.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What makes the HMM105S different from other coiled audio cables?
- The HMM105S features an aluminum alloy connector shell instead of plastic, providing rigidity, durability against temperature swings, and a premium feel. The metal construction holds strain relief firmly and resists deformation from repeated handling in vehicle environments.
- Is the HMM105S suitable for automotive use?
- Yes, it is specifically designed for car AUX applications. The coiled TPU jacket maintains spring memory and stays flexible in cold temperatures, while the aluminum alloy shell withstands the angular pulls and temperature variations typical in vehicle interiors.
- Can I customize the HMM105S for OEM/ODM orders?
- Yes. Length, jacket colour, branding, and packaging are customisable for OEM/ODM orders. Contact us for customization options and pricing.
- What are the connector specifications?
- The cable features 3.5mm to 3.5mm connectors with 24K gold-plated contacts and OFC (oxygen-free copper) conductors for reliable audio transmission.
- Is there a lower-cost alternative to the HMM105S?
- Yes, the MP146S offers the same coiled cable design but with an ABS housing instead of aluminum alloy, suitable for volume orders and promotional programmes where a lighter, more economical build is needed.
