RCA/3.5mm Cable
2 x RCA Audio Cable - HMC101
Stereo 2 x RCA to 2 x RCA audio cable in a zinc alloy shell with black PVC jacket — the rigid metal-bodied build for amplifiers, receivers and rack installations.
Overview
The HMC101 is a stereo analogue interconnect — two RCA plugs at each end, left and right — built with a zinc alloy connector shell.
Zinc alloy is the heaviest and most rigid of the shell materials used on this cable, and the reason to choose it is mechanical rather than sonic. RCA sockets on amplifiers, AV receivers, mixers and rack equipment are usually crowded together on a back panel, often facing a wall, and plugs there get pushed, twisted and side-loaded during installation and whenever anything else is re-patched. A rigid metal shell takes that handling without the body deforming or the plug loosening on the cable.
This is the classic connection for an amplifier to a source, a turntable preamp to a receiver, a mixer to powered speakers, a CD or media player to an input, or a subwoofer feed — anywhere line-level stereo audio moves between separate boxes.
The jacket is black PVC. Where the installation calls for a more flexible cable that routes through tight cable management, the TPE-jacketed HMM101 in the same range, with an aluminium shell, is the lighter and more pliable alternative.
Each unit ships with one cable. Length, jacket colour, branding and packaging are customisable for OEM/ODM orders.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What makes the zinc alloy shell better than other materials?
- Zinc alloy is the heaviest and most rigid shell material, designed to resist deformation when plugs are pushed, twisted or side-loaded during installation in crowded equipment racks. The rigid construction prevents the plug loosening on the cable over time.
- What audio applications is the HMC101 suitable for?
- The HMC101 is ideal for amplifier-to-source connections, turntable preamps to receivers, mixers to powered speakers, CD/media players to inputs, and subwoofer feeds — any line-level stereo audio connection between separate boxes.
- Is this cable customizable for OEM/ODM orders?
- Yes. Length, jacket colour, branding and packaging are all customisable for OEM/ODM orders. Contact us with your specifications.
- What is the alternative if I need a more flexible cable?
- The HMM101 model offers a more flexible alternative with an aluminium shell and TPE jacket, suitable for tight cable management installations where less rigidity is needed.
